MANAGER

For the past 40 years Phil has been performing criminal and corporate investigations across the entire spectrum of offending. He is recognised as one of New Zealand’s premier investigators and security specialist consultants.

Born in Wales, Phil moved to London and started his career as a young copper in the London Metropolitan Police. He was soon promoted to Sergeant and qualified as a Detective, working in the Met investigating serious crimes. In the mid 1980's, following a Kiwi lass, he moved to New Zealand where he worked with Ron McQuilter as a PI while waiting to be accepted into the New Zealand Police.

Once in the New Zealand Police, Phil again rose quickly through the ranks to be promoted to Detective Sergeant and running the Auckland Crime Squad. His police service was in the Auckland region where he worked in all the major crime teams and sexual abuse team, meaning Phil has a broad base of investigative experience to offer. 

On leaving the Police, Phil again worked with Ron McQuilter, set up Omega Investigations and is proud to be part of our senior leadership team.  With four decades of experience, Phil is very much the go to person for many legal professionals seeking someone with extensive criminal, corporate and financial crime investigative experience. Phil has investigated some of the largest fraud and corruption investigations in New Zealand as well as rape and murders.
