Daniel Ross

Daniel Ross is a former New Zealand Police Detective and Sergeant with more than 13 years of experience in frontline policing and complex criminal investigations. His background includes homicide, serious violence, adult sexual assault, organised crime, and other high-risk matters, giving him strong practical insight into how Police develop evidence, manage witnesses, and progress cases through to court.

A former member of the National Organised Crime Group, Daniel has extensive experience in overt and covert investigations, including the application and analysis of warrants, surveillance material, financial intelligence, and disclosure. He has held leadership roles in homicide investigations and managed complex prosecution files in both the District and High Courts. Daniel is particularly well placed to assist on matters involving organised crime, drug offending, money laundering, fraud, serious violence, sexual offending, and technology-enabled crime, bringing a disciplined and methodical approach to every investigation.
